Provinzmuseum Hubei Provincial Museum

Das Provinzmuseum Hubei war sehr nett. Ich habe dort kurzerhand bei einer Deutschen Führung mitgelauscht.

The Hubei Provincial Museum was quite nice. I listened to the tour guide of a German tourist group 🙂

Im Museum gab es eine große Karte über die nördliche Seidenstraße mit China und Russland. Wuhan ist ungefähr wo der unterste rote Punkt ist. Der westlichste Teil meiner Reise soll dahin gehen wo ich hinzeige. Die Stadt dort heißt Kashgar. Unten zum Spaß eine Tabelle mit Städten die von dort näher als Shanghai sind (sorry – Berlin ist weiter weg…)

In the museum there was a map about the northern silk road, depicting Asia and Russia. Wuhan ist near the bottom-most red dot. The west-most part of my journey should take me to Kashgar – I am pointing to it. Below is, just for fun, a table with cities that are actually closer to Shanghai (sorry – Berlin is more far away).
