Ich habe noch eine weitere Nacht in Golmud gebucht, um eine Tagestour zum Kunlun Pass (4.770m) machen zu können. Dieser liegt auf der Straße nach Tibet – ich bin ihr 160km bis zum Pass gefolgt. Es gab eine Polizeikontrolle, bei der ich meinen Reisepass abgegeben habe, um ihn auf der Rückfahrt wieder abzuholen. Alles kein Problem – die Polizisten waren sehr freundlich.
Leider war das Wetter nicht gut – es hat sogar zwischendurch gehagelt.
I habe booked one more night in Golmud, in order to make a trip to the Kunlun Pass (4770m). It is on the street to Tibet – I followed it for 160km to the pass. There was a police inspection at which I submitted my passport. I got it back when I returned from the pass. No problem – the police men where very friendly.
Unfortunately the weather was not good – it even hailed at some point.
